Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation
aka "Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatte Iru | A Corpse is Buried Under Sakurako's Feet"
This series catered to me so much! Sakurako is such a playful and mysterious protagonist, and I loved all the forensic osteology and psychology elements. Feel free to go all in on the morbidness. Her quasi-partnership with Shotaro is fun to see as well.
-Sakurako gushing over an intriguing specimen
-Discussing forensic anthropology with someone over a luxurious teatime spread
-Something darker having to do with the cliffhanger at the end of the series, POV of one of the victims or the main villain himself
夜勤事件 | The Convenience Store (Video Game)
Another brief but atmospheric horror walking sim. Playtime is approximately 1 hour or less. I was captivated by this one because I love mini marts as a setting, and I loved the juxtaposition between sleek commercialism and grungy horror decay.
I've nominated and requested the Night Shift Worker as she is the main POV of this game, but I would be just as happy with something more worldbuilding-focused that occurs with her existing more in the periphery and not directly taking part in the plot.
-Slice of life at the convenience store, maybe pre-game, where things are seemingly normal but the protagonist and/or Ken are starting to notice weird happenings during their shift
-POV of the mother or child ghost visiting the store or the night shift worker at home
-More background on the videos! How they got made, how the curse works, is the delivery man aware of the situation, etc
-In the ending where it gets closed down, what does the franchise owner choose do with the store afterwards?
Dance of Cards
Gambling mechanics in my death game simulator? Hell yeah. This RPG has a such a fun visual and audio style, and I loved its snappy take on hold 'em style poker. It's like a game version of Kaiji/Liar Game with visual novel elements similar to those of the Dangan Ronpa series (spending downtime with other gamblers to gain their trust!).
Playtime was roughly 10 hours after attempting all Death Gambits and collecting all badges.

-Character study/art of a player, maybe including their special ability
-More lighthearted moments in between death games on the cruise or in Bon Voyage mode

-Archie (poor talking poker dog): learning to talk again, someone saving him from Arthur
-Something that incorporates the reveal about the nature of the cards

Things I like about the canon: everything about the setting and snapshots of 80s Taiwan, environmental storytelling, the doll as something both creepy and comforting, contrasting the horror with the beauty in the storybook section and the scenes with the tulips, interior design elements as horror
-Outsider POV of things going downhill for Feng Yu or the antagonist setting up their scam
-So uh, I think it's likely that the Du family will no longer be living in that apartment after the events of the game. What will happen to the next family that moves in? Scary sightings from lingering bad karma?
-Mei Shin meets Ray from Red Candle's previous game Detention
-Any character's fate in the afterlife
-Just any creepy images or descriptions of the apartment complex! I just love the atmosphere in this game so much
-Something focusing on the song "The Lady On the Pier" or the movie it was from, which had Li Fang's breakout role

I love all the character designs as well as all the messy entanglements in Hathaway's relationships. NSFW is totally welcome.

-This film was such a blessing for uniform/clothes kink - Feddy uniforms, form-fitting piloting suits, formal clothes (those three piece suits!). Please do whatever you want with that. Any kind of stripping or state of undress is awesome too.
-Hathaway + plant motifs? (I was really into his cover as a botanist) Kenneth + posing with riding accessories (in a suggestive way?)

Return to Oz (1985)
I caught a rerun of this amazing film when I was a kid, and I could never ever forget it! Dorothy is SO brave, and the setting and characters were all so darkly fascinating. Mombi and Ozma were two very different princesses, and I would love to see more about her interactions with them.
Fandom-specific DNW: Billina being killed or eaten (dying of natural causes is fine)
- More about pre-movie Mombi - is she really a Princess? How did she become so vain and self-absorbed? Was she always this cruel or did she used to be less threatening like her book counterpart Princess Langwidere?
-Post-movie Dorothy/Ozma relationship development, maybe over the course of Dorothy's intermittent visits after responding to Ozma's open invitation to return whenever she likes.
-Assuming it really was her in the asylum at the beginning of the film, what did Ozma think of Kansas and does she ever go back?
-Enjoying meals from the lunch pail tree together

Scariest game ever, imo. Part of me can't stop thinking about it, and I would love to see anything more about these characters and how they interact with Hanuda and the curse.

-As implied by the series' title, a main theme is the power of sound as a vehicle of supernatural horrors. Cultist chants, anguished cries, unearthly wails...Anything that addresses that in fic or art would be cool.
-Related to the above prompt: the Hoshingoeika is so, so haunting. How does it get handed down through the generations?
