Thank you for checking out my letter! I'm echoslam, and I'm glad to be doing ToT again this year!

Feel free to use this information as little or as much as you want. I have some optional prompts, but I'm not particular about whether or not they're used. I can't resist horror and mystery themes in a dating sim, and I enjoyed 7'Scarlet way more than I expected. I loved Ichiko's curiosity about Okunezato and her dedication to solving the mystery of what happened to her brother.

7'Scarlet Spoilers

Toa: Omg the sadness!! Let them be happy together even if it's just once! Toa relying on lots of kissing and touches to stay sane would be nice for an AU where he doesn't disappear

Yua: Hurt/comfort and finding solace after mourning would be nice themes, or a dark divergence where Yua dies also and comes back for Ichiko...

Isora: It was nice to have a straightforward yandere right at the start of the game, imo. Food themes aphrodisiacs as well as Stockholm Syndrome themes could all be fun.

Hanate: Creepy older brother routes are a feature and not a bug to me, so I'd be happy to see them get together. Leaning into the incest even after they find out the truth is fine as would be anything about how Ichiko is basically this irresistible pheromone factory to him.

Other ideas:

-I'm also interested in Ichiko's status as a "flower" and how that basically makes her catnip to a Revenant.

-A peaceful or romantic moment somewhere in Okunezato

-Any kind of silliness involving Okune Panda

-Canon divergence where Ichiko keeps them alive with physical intimacy to keep them sane, just making sure to avoid fire at all costs

-Anything to do with flowers or the violacia plot point.

-Does Yuzuki's opinion of her change once it's revealed that she's essentially the incarnation of a flower?

-Folklore references

-"To say goodbye is to die a little", the series' tagline, as a theme

Otomate catered to me so well with this one, and it's been living in my head rent-free since I finished the game. I liked that that the plot was structured around her journey of self-discovery, and I loved seeing the support from Sayaka, Yui and the love interests. My favorite canon romantic options were Hibiki, Koharu, and Sena.

Misa's 9-day romances were very fast-paced, so any kind of quiet moment where the feelings get to blossom more slowly would be great! The sequel comes out in a week, so if you're playing it, I totally don't mind spoilers.

-Misa designing a parfait for someone

-Halloween in Narimigahama where all the ghosts and spirits and demons come out to play

-Defending her dreams from Minami by having thoughts of someone else

-Cooking with Koharu

-Sayaka being extremely excited that her best friend is dating a ghost/spirit and helping with her occult knowledge

-Lycoris or phalaenopsis orchid floral themes for Misa/Hibiki

-Life-draining/life-giving kisses

-Scenes from a Sayaka route or saving her from the high Insanity ending in Urban Legends

Bad Apple Wars

Rinka

Ships I like:

RIP to the Vita otome classics that will probably never get ports :( I loved the art, the atmosphere, and all of the LIs and side characters + the weird teachers and just want to see more of Rinka's story, whether it's a fix-it, bittersweet, or leaning into more tragedy of being trapped in NEVAEH Academy.

Some prompts:

-Moments of getting closer while investigating the school or while Rinka is learning to be a Prefect in the Good Apple routes

-"Soul touch" leads to physical intimacy

-Detailed continuation of one of the bad endings - the despair fascinates me

-Alternate endings for any of the canon routes - how else could they find each other in different timelines?

-Developing a relationship with one of the other Bad Apples while hanging out at the club area

-Falling in love with or getting dub or nonconned by one of the teachers (the creepy masks can stay on or off as you please)

-Apple motifs in art or imagery

Charade Maniacs

Sena Hiyori

Charade Maniacs is basically an homage to the death game visual novel genre in otome game form, bringing to mind Danganronpa and Zero Escape (and *especially* Virtue's Last Reward)

I loved how creepy things could get and how it kept up the unsettling atmosphere of distrust between the participants.

Hiyori's nurturing and trusting nature definitely worked for me in the context of the plot, and I'd like to see how that lends itself to being with her LIs. Aged up or post canon situations would be fine as well.

Charade Maniacs Spoilers

-Akase: They were really cute together, and I felt bad for Akase after all the reveals and him getting Dead Ended in Futami's route. They wound up innocently sharing a bed a surprising number of times. but what if it wasn't so innocent? How would they comfort each other after all the trauma of the Other World? Or something about Hiyori trying to protect him.


-Futami: He was super trashy in his route, and appreciated it. I loved Hiyori's "I can fix him" energy, and I would love to see that even if she can't. It would also be great to see him transfer his fixation on the Sponsor to her. This route could also be a jumping-off point for Akase/Hiyori or Iochi/Hiyori - I love jealousy and rival ships competing.


-Iochi: They're so cool and composed, and I love how Hiyori is pretty much smitten with them right from the get-go. Cocktails, hurt/comfort, suit kink, post-game falling in love, are all possibilities. Or maybe something darker where they're forced to do something sexual as part of a stream. Anything you want to do with Iochi's gender is fine.

Regarding Haiji: I feel like the True Ending has some really dark implications, and I'm down if you want to go there. If you want to keep him in the form of a robot puppy (that creepily watches her), that's fine too. Haiji clearly had no problem with manipulating everyone, so I could see him doing it again.

Other ideas:

-Romantic moment against the backdrop of the unsettling Otherworld setting

-Drama references or performance as a theme. In Chigasaki's route, Hiyori describes reading the script of a play that makes her miserable, and I'm pretty certain it's "Ghosts" by Henrik Ibsen. What other real life plays would they be using?

-Being forced to act out something that makes one of them shy or flustered

-Playing a practical joke on Ebana

This is a relatively short game at under 4 hours in length.

Things I like about the canon: everything about the setting and snapshots of 80s Taiwan, environmental storytelling, the doll as something both creepy and comforting, contrasting the horror with the beauty in the storybook section and the scenes with the tulips, interior design elements as horror

-Outsider POV of things going downhill for Feng Yu or the antagonist setting up their scam

-So uh, I think it's likely that the Du family will no longer be living in that apartment after the events of the game. What will happen to the next family that moves in? Scary sightings from lingering bad karma?

-Mei Shin meets Ray from Red Candle's previous game Detention

-Any character's fate in the afterlife

-Just any creepy images or descriptions of the apartment complex! I just love the atmosphere in this game so much

-Something focusing on the song "The Lady On the Pier" or the movie it was from, which had Li Fang's breakout role

The Excavation of Hob's Barrow

Thomasina Bateman

I really enjoyed following the protagonist's journey in this atmospheric folk horror game and would love to see anything centered around Thomasina as a character, whether you stick to canon or not.

Hob's Barrow Spoilers

-I came out of this game with the realization that I ship Abraxas/Thomasina. What if the entity just wanted to win her over but could only do so in ways that would be perceived as horrific? Maybe they could be using other characters like Lord Panswyck and the cat as conduits? I'm down for any kind of eldritch weirdness.

-Abraxas went to all that trouble to draw Thomasina in just to keep her alive in the end. What was the motivation there? Was it just revenge or could they have wanted to keep her close or merge with her permanently?

-Post-ending return to Bewlay - is she revered by the townspeople now?

-Undergoing apotheosis

-Anything with Thomasina + hellebore

-Interacting with the fiddler again

Horror, psychological trauma, dub and noncon are all fine.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia

Ahhh these Celica ships!

Celica/Conrad

I really love dark themes and one-sided attraction for this one! Could take place either before or after Conrad's identity reveal. Basically, I'm down for anything involving Conrad being overly invested in or obsessed with Celica. Dub and noncon would totally be on the table.

Other ideas: Duma-induced madness, other characters being unsettled by some inappropriate behavior, overbearing romantic gestures, jealousy. It's fine to mention her in an established relationship with someone else (Saber, Mae, Alm, etc)

Celica/Saber

I really liked how their relationship dynamic developed over the course of the game, and I would be happy to see anything you'd like to do with them.

Themes I'm into for this ship: guilty attraction, self-sacrifice, Celica becoming a witch or considering the potential of doing so, loyalty kink, protectiveness, secret trysts, intimate moments, Saber being more caring that he dares let on, quiet affection

I do like all the other members of Alm's and Celica's teams too! Feel free to include them however you wish.

Impact Blue is a ride or die duo, and I would truly love to see anything about them. Appearances from other racing teams, supporting cast, or cars are more than welcome. Both anime and manga canon are fine by me as well.

Lee Luna

Cha Se Eum/Lee Luna

This drama is an adaptation of the French series Philharmonia, and it offers a wealth of melodrama and beautiful orchestral moments. I've been so into Luna's curiosity and admiration for Se Eum since the first episode. That scene of her calling Luna out for deliberately practicing with the door open as a plea for attention? Amazing. As for the reveal, well, haha feel free to go all in on that drama - I'm here for it!

-Se Eum being pedantic about music and Luna loving it

-Playing a duet or appreciating music together

-More scenes of Luna sneakily antagonizing people like Taeho or Chairman Yoo on Se Eum's behalf

-Anything about Luna's private happiness at being singled out for her talent or being a success after being appointed concertmaster

-Something themed around one of the musical pieces used in the show: Mission Impossible, Brahms, etc

-I so wished the show had focused more on Luna herself and her motivations as a character, so any introspection would be nice

Kanata: butler service at the Silverstone Café, sportswear or Royal Donington Racing School gear, unintentional thirst trap, "No problem" serious face, dressed for relaxation, pose w/Kanagawa flowers or nature

Kyoko: I love her chill attitude and practical approach to her job! Any kind of dress, sweater weather, femme fatale, beach day
