I'm happy to see whatever you want to do with my requested ships. I'm very into the whole "sad pining over a dead character" thing but also feel free to diverge from canon as much as you want to make them work. I have no problem with including any of the canon marriages, but feel free to handwave them as you see fit. Infidelity is also a-ok.

Ideas:

-The ghost of Sybil or Edward still haunts Downton and they have a tryst with their love interest

-Gwen and Thomas were both very competent and good with their hands. How could they leverage that talent in the bedroom?

-Total canon divergence where there was no death and they managed to go off and live on their own terms.

-I have a lot of feelings about Anna/Mary and I see their relationship as either warm and supportive or cold and one-sided depending on how self-serving Mary is in your view. Anna is just so loyal...you can decide whether that brings her happiness or great pain.
