I’ve been fascinated by their relationship for the entirety of the series, and I’m definitely open to a variety of different interpretations of them. They could be anything from sweet and affectionate to angsty and emotionally codependent, to Mary not necessarily being a good person, etc. I'm open to whatever characterizations work for you.

Feel free to do whatever you want with their canon love interests. Infidelity is fine with me, or you could totally just handwave them not being there or use the characters in another capacity.

Prompts:

-Anna wakes up in an alternate reality where she is a grand lady and Mary is her maid, could be temporary or permanent as you like.

-Mary being possessive of Anna

-Missing scenes of their relationship from any time during the series or movies

-Anna being with Mary even far into the future and them reflecting back on their relationship



Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly
Amakura Mayu/Kurosawa Sae

Beautiful, tragic, terrifying game. The "official" ending always made me cry. I love Mayu and would be fascinated to see more of her with Sae, her counterpart. This could be anything from a ghost romance to outright horror.

Prompts:

-The process of being taken over by Sae, maybe something like a battle in the center of Mayu’s mind?

-Working through their complicated feelings about their sisters by communing with each other

-A situation where they coexist as individuals. Maybe time travel?

-Anything that leans in to the photography aspect of the game, what if Mayu got a chance to use the camera and confront Sae, art or descriptions of their photos

I loved doing the Sylvari personal story and meeting these two. I'd be happy to see more of the lore referenced or for a Sylvari Pact Commander to be present as a supporting character.

-What if they had both survived until Heart of Thorns? Would they oppose or embrace the call of Mordremoth?

-Tegwen Comes Back Wrong but Carys still loves her
