I can't resist horror and mystery themes in a dating sim, and I enjoyed 7'Scarlet way more than I expected (the crashing issues does suck, though). I loved Ichiko's curiosity about Okunezato and her dedication to solving the mystery of what happened to her brother. Yua's supportiveness was so good, and I wish they had gotten more scenes together.

-Cute moments getting closer working together at the hotel

-Yua tries to introduce Ichiko to her gaming hobby or discusses it with her

-Rescuing Ichiko from one of the bad endings

-Finding solace and getting together after the events surrounding the person Yua was protecting

Chainsaw Man (Manga)

Solo: Higashiyama Kobeni (Chainsaw Man)

I loved many things about Chainsaw Man, from the body horror to the heavy-hitting emotions. The worldbuilding was so believably nightmarish to me, and Kobeni's terror of it all felt very justified.

Optional shipping preferences: I'm up for solo gen or shipping Kobeni with any female character or any Devil

Ideas: missing scenes, Kobeni's POV of any of the horrifying moments from canon, the horror of her Devil hunter training or of making a contract, Kobeni as the Final Girl in a survival horror setting

To me, Charade Maniacs was truly a horror story given the ending reveals. I loved the contrast between the unsettling atmosphere and cute slice of life moments in this game. Hiyori's trusting nature definitely worked for me in the context of the plot, and I'd like to see how that lends itself to being with her LIs. Aged up or post canon situations would be fine as well.

It always made me happy to see these two! The Double R is such a central part of the Twin Peaks food scene, and I would love any details about it or what it means to Norma
(I like to think that her mother was wrong about her food and that it was actually delicious).

Having them be together through a canon divergence or AU is great, but I'm okay with mentioning their canon relationships as well

-Slice of life at the Double R Diner (or slice of life that goes weird in a Twin Peaks-y way)

-Shelly learning things from Norma or being spoiled by her

Josie Packard

-Josie's fate was a grim one, would like to see what you think became of her

-That said, her past was also harrowing and horror arising from those experiences would also be of interest. I'm aware of the additional backstory in The Secret History book, but I'd prefer to focus on the show canon.

Goshima Kirie & Saito Shuichi (Uzumaki)

I found their relationship to be very heartwarming amidst the escalating wtf nightmare of the setting. Their fate is a harsh one, and I'm down for either subverting it or exploring more of the moments that led up to the end. Or maybe just an intimate or romantic scene that gets encroached upon by the horror?
