Thanks for checking out this letter! I'm echoslam on AO3, and I'm excited to be doing this very motivating exchange for the farewell round.

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia

This was such a fun remake to play, and I was impressed with how much chemistry these ships had. It would be great to see more content for them in any context, whether it's set within canon, a divergence, or a fluffy or weird AU.

I do like all the other members of Alm's and Celica's teams too! Feel free to include them however you wish.

Celica/Conrad

Basically, I'm down for anything involving Conrad being obsessed with Celica. This could involve Duma-induced madness, a magic spell gone wrong, or just good old jealousy. It's fine to mention her in an established relationship with someone else (Saber, Mae, Alm, etc) and for it to be purely one-sided. Noncon and dubcon would be totally fine as well.

-Somnophilia or taking advantage of her while she's injured or being controlled by Duma

-Pining or struggling to keep feelings in check

-Flirting with or seducing her before she knows they're related.

Celica/Saber

I really liked how their relationship dynamic developed over the course of the game, and I would be happy to see anything about them in a missing scene, divergence, or post-canon. Or even a total AU that focuses on them! I don't mind seeing Alm/Celica being a rival ship for plot reasons (jealousy, infidelity, and guilt are all themes I enjoy). Also, I do like all the other members of Alm's and Celica's teams too! Feel free to include them however you wish.

Themes I'm into for this ship: guilty attraction, Celica's sense of self-sacrifice and Saber's objection to that, loyalty kink, protectiveness,

-Saber being more caring than he allows people to believe or being perceptive about Celica's needs and weaknesses

-Maintaining a secret relationship post-canon

-Celica becoming a Witch doesn't change them caring for one another or Saber gets a corruption arc with her

-A strategy discussion between the two of them becomes heated and leads to making out or sex

-Saber being dressed in formal clothes for whatever reason

-A sexual tension-filled rescue after either of them is imperiled.


Genny/Sonya

They're so sweet together, and I adored the parallels in their backstories and how they come to an understanding in their support.

-Sonya spoiling or doting on Genny in any way or just them supporting and "being bitter together"

-Genny becoming hellbent on finding a way to save Sonya's sisters

-Training in magic together or using it for unconventional purposes

-Older Genny reuniting with Sonya after a long separation and seducing/flirting with her

-Genny likes storytelling, so what if she tried her hand at writing F/F erotica?

-Any kind of cute AU like coffeeshop/teashop, lol. I'm weak for that stuff.

I loved watching Maggie Cheung, Anita Mui, and Michelle Yeoh embrace absurdity in this very unserious yet still heartwarming film. IMO, the care they all had for one another came across even better with all the explosions, wire fu, and crazy decapitation weapons flying around in the background.

-Further adventures of the trio! Feel free to reference the sequel Executioners or not, feel free to make it serious or include as much absurdity as you want. Maybe they have to fight yet another over the top villain?

-Chat's complicated feelings for Ching pre, during or post canon (or Ching's for her), trying to return the favor of her saving her life, maybe Tung tries to play peacemaker?

-Character study of their private selves vs their larger-than-life personas as Invisible Woman, Thief Catcher, and Wonder Woman

-Anything that gets really into the 90s Hong Kong setting: eating at a dai pai dong or cha chaan teng, going to the movies or enjoying the night life, visiting local sights, etc.

-Just slice of life moments of them doing their thing protecting the streets of Hong Kong? Sparring? Helping Tung renovate her house? Taking care of the horses, Chat maintaining her bike or procuring things for her Bag of Useful Items

Initial D

Sato Mako/Sayuki

Impact Blue is a ride or die duo, and I would truly love to see anything about them. Appearances from other racing teams, supporting cast, or cars are more than welcome. Both anime and manga canon are fine by me as well. I was overjoyed to see Mako reemerge in the Subaru x Subaru manga, and I'm really hoping we find out about Sayuki soon.

MF Ghost

MF Ghost is the spinoff series of Initial D featuring legally sanctioned street racing through the Kanagawa area in an alternative future. (It took me a while to catch on to the environmental crisis aspect of the series. Mount Fuji erupted?!?)

The series also seems to operate under the assumption that Ryosuke Takahashi has developed into a diabolical troll who thinks that things like mid-air cliffside jumps and hydro traps are good features to add to a course.

In these races, sports coupes can dunk on supercars through superior skill and tactics, and it's all very entertaining with lots of great Eurobeat. As the series continued, I enjoyed seeing how MFG racing became a way for Kanata to cope with his grief and how their rivalry is what helps Michael to let go of his elitist attitude.

Michael Beckenbauer/Kanata Rivington

They should have kissed after Atami Ghost. :'D The final races may have ridiculous gimmicks, but the scenery is gorgeous, and the way they show off the cooperation between Kanata and Michael is beautiful to behold, so I can't complain. Looking forward to the last season no matter what.

I would love anything that contrasts them or shows them reaching an understanding. AU situations, different perspectives, or any kind of pose or background would be welcome.

-Scene(s) from their developing relationship after they become friends

-Kanata getting to cry on Michael's shoulder literally or metaphorically

-The softer side of Michael Beckenbauer or the more intimidating side of Kanata Rivington

마에스트라 | Maestra: Strings of Truth (TV)

Cha Se Eum/Lee Luna

This drama is an adaptation of the French series Philharmonia, and it offers a wealth of melodrama and beautiful orchestral moments. I was so into Luna's curiosity and admiration for Se Eum since the first episode, and the way that the murder mystery played out was exactly my kind of drama. That scene of her calling Luna out for deliberately practicing with the door open as a plea for attention? Amazing. I would love to see anything that delves into their relationship or that continues Luna's story after the ending.

-Se Eum being pedantic about music and Luna loving it

-Playing a duet or appreciating music together

-More scenes of Luna sneakily antagonizing people like Taeho or Chairman Yoo on Se Eum's behalf

-Anything about Luna's private happiness at being singled out for her talent or being a success after being appointed concertmaster

-Something themed around one of the musical pieces used in the show: Mission Impossible, Brahms, etc

-Luna coming back into Se Eum's life post-series somehow

-I so wished the show had focused more on Luna herself and her motivations as a character, so any introspection would be nice

Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash (Movies)

Hathaway Noa/Kenneth Sleg

I can't believe the next film is already upon us! Design-wise, I really like everything they've done with this iteration of the Universal Century era and would love to see whatever you want to do with these two and their fraught relationship.

I love them in all sorts of ways: outright antagonistic, tensely amicable, romantic, seductive, etc. Maybe they could have a direct confrontation. Or maybe they find themselves in a surprisingly peaceful, harmonious situation. The recent trailers teased so many tantalizing scenes, and I'd be happy to see anything about whatever part of the movieverse calls to you.

Ideas:

-Hathaway has emotionally complicated or suggestive Newtype visions/hallucinations about Kenneth

-Something about Hathaway's cover ID as he continues to pose as a mild-mannered botanist? Botanical metaphors? A conversation about plants turns dark or philosophical?

-Kenneth dragging Hathaway off somewhere (They don't call it a date but it is).

-Anything to do with Kenneth's enthusiasm for horsemanship, intimidation tactics, or just messing with Hathaway for the fun of it

-Playing a sport or game

-I know Hathaway doesn't like the water, but I'm always down for a beach or aquatic scene

-Anything that takes inspiration from any setting: outer space, Davao, Hong Kong, or any part of Southeast Asia or Oceania. Flora or fauna? Something more urban? In the sequel, it looks like we're going to see the Botanic Observation Agency in Manado, which is exciting.

贄の町 | Nie no Machi (Visual Novel)

Kiyozumi Hisora/Koko

Playing this VN made me feel like someone profiled me and created it game to suit my exact tastes. Love the juxtaposition of horror and cozy slice of life. Both the original game and the fandisc catered to me in so many ways, and I adored how the grisly bad endings didn't hold back. I loved Hisora as a protagonist, and I would love to see more of him being involved with the weirdness of the setting.

I am aware that the official English localization is censored, but I have seen the cut content and would be very happy with something based on the original version.

Koko's route was so intense, and everything about it, from the cute kitchen scenes to the gut wrenching angst, really appealed to me. I am just dying for any more content with them.

-Cooking stuff is definitely welcome as it's such a big part of the narrative.

-Maybe something from Koko's POV about how he falls in love with Hisora and the pain of grappling with the horrific circumstances of his past

-Generally speaking, I'm thrilled if Hisora refers to Koko by his real name, especially when they're being intimate.

I would love any continuations of the Return or Stay endings, whether they get a happy ending or a tragic one.

-Them finding happiness together in the Return ending or Koko being a doting and possessive boyfriend in the other world (I looved that ending in the fandisc that suggested he was feeding his old lovers to Freaks in order to protect Hisora

-Having sex with Hisora after he survives the tentacle noncon ending

-I was kinda jealous that Mio got the cool body horror "transform into a Freak and eat Hisora" ending. What would that look like for Koko?

-I like the general premise of the bad ending where Koko goes insane and chops off Hisora's legs to make sure he can't leave him. However, I would prefer Dark Koko exhibiting his sadism and controlling obsession with Hisora in ways that don't involve unpleasant experiences with food. I would also ask for no mention of Hisora experiencing age-regression, which was somewhat hinted at in his more juvenile-sounding speech.

Celebrated Male Mecha Pilot/Grumpy Male Mechanic (OW)

I love mecha series and would be happy to see this relationship in any situation you would like to explore. Why is the pilot so celebrated, and does he have positive or negative feelings about it? Why is the mechanic grumpy, and is it situational or a constant part of his personality?

Do they make out in the mecha?

Other ideas: begrudging admiration, cybernetics, mind-machine interfaces, getting turned on by tech speak, having to work together for a mission

Noblewoman/Rival Noblewoman (OW)

I want to know everything about their rivalry and all that it entails! I love period and costume dramas, but I welcome anything you want to do with the setting. What is their society and culture like, and what kind of political games do they have to play in order to maintain their status?

-Is the rivalry an overt thing or something passive aggressive?

-Are they totally antagonistic or do they become fluffy and romantic?

-How elaborate are their schemes and power plays? What is their social circle like?

-I would also be down for something dark and heinous, maybe with horror elements.

-Could there be murders or assassinations if it's a high drama setting?

The Red Queen Kills Seven Times (1972)

Rosemary Müller/Kitty Wildenbrück

I've been on a giallo movie kick for a while, and just from the title, I knew I had to watch this one. This stylish film had a lot going for it: there's an awesome soundtrack, great 70s fashion, murder and mayhem in a Bavarian castle, and a Porsche 914 being used as a murder weapon. I'd love to see anything you want to do with it, even if it subverts the plot entirely.

Alas poor Rosemary. That scene where she reaches out to Kitty right before her death really got me. I very much wanted to know more about her, and I would love any kind of canon divergence or fix-it that delves more into her relationship with Kitty. How does she feel about them being secret sisters? And what other motivations did she have while terrorizing everyone as the Red Queen? I like to think there was more to the situation than just "Franziska got her addicted to drugs." Maybe she thought of it more as a game between the two of them? I'd definitely be down for any kind of Rosemary Lives! AU.

-Rosemary deciding that she'd rather seduce Kitty than murder her

-Any kind of Rosemary survives AU or canon divergence would be so good

-Anything involving that awesome sequence with the Red Queen running through Kitty's dreams

-A sexually tense or romantic moment somewhere outside of all the murdery stuff, maybe pre-canon flirting at Springe fashion house or on an assignment/photo shoot

-What if the Red Queen had intervened before Kitty was assaulted?
