Fandom Growth Exchange 2019 Letter

echoslam, and I'm very excited to be participating in this year's exchange! (I saw Blade & Soul and Remember 11 in the tagset and I just went, "?!?!?111 WAT" Surely, it must be a sign).
Much of this letter is copypasta from previous ones and the length of certain sections may reflect that, but rest assured that I will be absolutely thrilled to receive whatever you want to create for any of these rainbow unicorn fandoms/pairings! I truly love them all.
General Likes: Any kind of AU (Canon Divergence, Mundane, Fantasy/Supernatural - I love it all! Anything you want to do with the setting is fine by me), character studies, introspection, romance or friendly affection, domesticity, slice of life, humor, unconventional formats, smut/PWP (I have a Smut Swap Letter if you'd like more details for this) - I'm happy to receive art or fic of any genre or rating!
Art likes: All art styles welcome, portraits, characters posing in different outfits or showing off abilities, couples being affectionate
DNWs: Body waste kinks, bestiality, non-canon incest, poly involving requested characters (exception is Yunma Fei/Junghado/Yu Chun)

I am endlessly amused by how put-upon the player character of BnS is. That said, it would be nice to see them have a chance to relax or receive some positive attention, and I would be interested in seeing any ship involving them. Any race/gender/class combo is fine. Also, feel free to give them a name or refer to them as Cricket, Jyansei, Maknae, whatever you want.
Leerok & Soha
Badass gunner siblings! I'd love to see anything about both or either of them: More of Soha's adventures in the Cinderlands or her rivalry with Juwol, Leerok's journey to becoming one of the Eight Masters or his own rivalry with that guy from the Gunslinger trailer, running Ironsights Academy, etc. Please throw all the crazy gun fu you want at me!
Yunma Fei/Junghado/Yu Chun
I CAN'T BELIEVE SOMEONE ELSE BESIDES ME SHIPS THIS OT3!!! I would love anything about these three as a polyship or about any component pairings! How did they get together - who made the first move? How do Junghado and Yu Chun give Yunma Fei emotional support once she becomes Empress? What does a cozy night in look like for them? What did Yu Chun and Yunma Fei get up to while Junghado was off slapping people around on the 7th floor of Mushin's tower? Really, I would be so thrilled with anything.

These two were the backbone of my main echelon for so long, and I was very amused at how they played off of one another in the Deep Dive event. I'd love to see friendly teasing and banter while going on missions or bonding of some sort - maybe while taking care of UMP's sisters?
M16A1 & M4A1
I love M16's attitude and how her personality contrasts with M4's more reserved earnestness. Anything about them giving each other emotional support would be so good. Honestly, I just love M16 bouncing off of everyone in the AR squad and will love anything that explores that dynamic.
M4A1/ST AR-15
I always tend to fall in love with ships that have a touch of tragedy, and wow this pairing definitely brings it in spades. ;__; Pre-canon happy times or reflection on what might have been would both be great - I just love these two being protective of one another. I am also down for something based on later canon with them being reunited or a completely fluffy AU. (M4 has suffered enough!!)

Chen Guo/Su Mucheng
I just love how bold, outspoken Chen Guo turns into a starstruck fangirl at the mere mention of Mucheng, and I totally believe that they become BFFs by the end of the series. I would love anything that maintains the fan/idol dynamic, especially if it involves Ye Xiu going o.O in the background. I'd also love it if Mucheng opened up to Chen Guo more about her situation and for there to be some nice emotional hurt/comfort.
Qiao Yifan/Ye Xiu
I've received gorgeous gifts for this wonderful pairing before, but I can never get enough of these two together! They have so much going for them that I absolutely love seeing in my OTPs. From the mentorship angle, to Ye Xiu's encouragement and borderline affectionate treatment of Yifan, to making him literally blush at their first face-to-face meeting, I'm shocked that it's not a more popular pairing. (Also, LOL forever at the Mirinda orange soda commercial they starred in together). I'd love anything that explores their potential as a couple, maybe about them maintaining a secret or not-so-secret relationship after Yifan joins Happy, something post-series after Yifan has come into his own as a professional player, or an AU where Ye Xiu rescues Yifan from a bad situation and they gradually fall in love with one another.
Chu Yunxiu
The Captain of Misty Rain is such an awesome but woefully underutilized character. I'd be happy to see her with anyone not involved in one of the aforementioned pairings (though I could totally see her and Mucheng as amicable exes). Some potential candidates: Wang Jiexi (I'm a sucker for double mage pairings, and I think theirs could be an interesting dynamic given how they're both captains as well as their personality contrast), her vice-captain Li Hua (<3 friends/partners to lovers), or Dai Yanqi (in case it wasn't obvious, I love "notice me, senpai" pairings).
As for my crack pairings:
Han Wenqing/Su Mucheng
I am all about the Softer Side of HWQ, and one day I just woke up convinced that this particular pairing would bring that out wonderfully. Their history together goes back to the beginning of the YX/HWQ rivalry (back when SMQ was still around) and I would love to see that explored. Or perhaps he falls for her after that impressive display of aggressiveness in Ch. 1027? Beauty and the Beast themes are also welcome (Wallet Face meme will always make me lol on account of how overblown it is).

I love the parallels in their character arcs! YWZ - started as the deadlast bottom tier of BR's training camp and eventually became captain. QYF - starts off as the worst-regarded rookie in TH, joins up with YX and goes on to become a core member of Happy and make big plays against the likes of HWQ and HST. Really, I enjoy these two so much as characters, and I'd love to see how they would be able to support one another in a relationship.

I prefer pre-identity change Zeng Jing to be referred to as Xi Yu (as opposed to Drizzle, lol) but I'm totally fine with either Chinese or English names for all other characters (Turquoise/Zhanqing, Magician/Lian Sheng, etc). Feel free to mix and match as you see fit.

Fuyukawa Kokoro/Yukidoh Satoru
Anything about either of the two leads or their partnership, whether platonic or romantic, would be wonderful. I've watched all 3 seasons of the TV series as well as all the movies/specials. If you want to include info from the DS game/novels that's great too!
Ueda Jiro/Yamada Naoko
I'm fine with any name for the Main Character(s) as well as leaving her nameless. There's a list of pre-generated names from the JP Version of the game if you'd like some choices.

I nominated a whole bunch of relationships for this series, and I'd love to see someone else's take on any of them, whether it's pre-ship gen, something based on one of the Liar! endings/Lover's routes, or an alternate ending for one of the games. I really would love just about anything!

I loved the aesthetic of this game more than words can say - the amazing, fluid combat mechanics and gorgeous environments were everything I could have wanted in an MMO. I started playing GFL last year, and it's still pretty much the only gatcha-esque game I can't tear myself away from XD. I love all the T-Dolls, and would be happy to see any of them. Would prefer less of a focus on the GK Commander/PC and more on the rest of the cast.HK416 & UMP45

I love how this movie is nonstop badassery from beginning to end, and I would love anything revolving around Zeng Jing/any characters' combat techniques or something more introspective and relationship-focused. The Infinity Series seriously messed with my head, and I will always love it for that. This is my favorite JDrama ever! It's kind of like X-Files: Rural Japan Edition but with magic tricks and campy screwball comedy elements. I can't say that I've ever seen anything else quite like it. I love Naoko as the put-upon Only Sane Woman that solves cases for Ueda, but I also liked the more serious recurring plotline about searching for her father's killer.Anything about either of the two leads or their partnership, whether platonic or romantic, would be wonderful. I've watched all 3 seasons of the TV series as well as all the movies/specials. If you want to include info from the DS game/novels that's great too!
